Our client is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. With offices all over the world and a user base of more than 35,000, they have one of the most sophisticated network environment and stringent requirements for applications that run on their network.
The Challenges
Our client was in need of an application that would allow them to manage their shipments worldwide to reps within organization and to clients. Existing procedures felt short of providing senders and recipients with up-to-date tracking information and it lacked the ability to inform fulfillment warehouse of consolidating opportunities increasing shipment costs to unacceptable levels.
The Solution
ETMS is an innovative web based application focused on export shipment management system. CHEMS has been architected to run as an intranet application. Since most of the work in ETMS is done by remote sales rep such as sample request and sample acknowledgement, the application has been optimized to yield acceptable response times at modem speeds (56K).
